Its 1:20 am in the morning and I'm lying on my best, it's my 2nd night in my new place at Seri Petaling and although I'm tired as heck, I still couldn't sleep. Maybe it's because I have been moving house for the last 3 days non stop everyday or because the air-con guy hasn't come and installed my air-con yet. With the ceiling fan at top speed and another standing fan also at top speed, i'm sweating like a piggy here. Now I'm starting to regret buying the comforter set.
But with Radja's Jujur blaring out of the television speakers and me getting to punch in some words into my fav blog site, I guess all that hard work is all worth it.
Moving from a place where I have came to enjoy living in, it was kind of ackward at first, especially the first night. I couldn't sleep at all. Maybe it's the latex smell of the new mattress, or the bad experience having to sleep on the mattress on the floor, I dunno. But the nice thing is getting up in the morning and being able to take my time driving to work. Guess what? It used to take 30 mins to get from my place to the LRT station where we have to gather to board the company's bus kilang. Now it only takes 5 mins. Hows that for near (and convenient?)
With food stores nearby and 2 hypermarts within walking distance, I begin to ask myself... why didn't I think of this earlier? Maybe after all that searching high and low for a place to stay, this could be the most right choice I have ever made. So far so good, cos I haven't regretted my decision yet.
Besides the exuberance about how convenient this location is, I also rejoice in the fact that, finally there are people to come home and talk with. How nice. But all is not rainbows and butterflies here tho. Parking is a nightmare. With a 66 feet wide road, people seem to be parking everywhere! omigosh! I had to park my car at the end of the road. This place is a cul-de-sac (or deadend for the not so language savvy) BUt at least its ok lah, since it's 66 feet wide, people get to go to the end and make a u-turn back to go out. Its only sometimes some moron will double park their vehicle till its unpassable. Luckily none of that occured when I was driving the 4x4 pickup truck earlier, if not.. hmm.. wonder how an urban demolition derby would look like. (lol)
Anyhow, hope its all good. The air-con guy promised to come at 7am sharp tomorrow. Hope he comes, give me a good solution to my aircon problems and help give me better sleep in a colder climate. its starting to feel like the african sahara at this weather.
My eyes are getting smaller and I'm starting to yawn like a cow. I think i'll stop here for now and maybe continue tomorrow or so. This entry is so shot, so unlike me, but I promise, I would definitely write more soon. Ciao amigos!
